This site was designed to connect you with local Woodbury businesses, and member businesses with each other, and to provide information on the Business Association activities in our community.
Since 1988, the WBA has worked to support businesses located in or doing business in Woodbury. Our town, while successfully maintaining its historic charm and character, has a variety of small businesses and services. Involvement with the Business Association provides local businesses the opportunity to network, collaborate and promote with each other.
Several times throughout the year, the Woodbury Business Association sponsors events (such as candidate debates in election years) and programs (such as tutorials on property revaluation or signage regulations) and networking meetings for the business community. In addition to a desire to improve the business climate in Woodbury, our members have a sincere interest in supporting the community and find the WBA provides an opportunity to participate in programs such as our annual James J. Clark, Jr. Community Service Award. For the past 20 years we have provided an annual scholarship to a deserving Nonnewaug High School senior and have supported a number of local charitable causes, especially the Community Services Council of Woodbury. |
